Dentures are a removable replacement for missing teeth and their surrounding tissues. Full dentures are used when all of a patient’s teeth are missing, but if some teeth remain, partial dentures are recommended. The teeth in dentures are manufactured from porcelain, plastic or a combination of the two materials.

Full Mouth Dentures
Depending on your preference and dental history, we can provide you with either conventional or immediate full dentures. Conventional dentures are made after all the teeth have been removed, and are placed in the mouth 8 to 12 weeks following removal.
Immediate dentures ensure that you have teeth right after removal, but do require follow-up adjustments to ensure proper fit over time, and are a temporary solution until conventional dentures can be made.
Partial Dentures
These are appropriate for patients with some missing teeth, filling spaces and allowing for a normal smile and bite. Because partial dentures are removable, patients are instructed to remove them at night to maintain proper hygiene.
Implant Supported Dentures
Sometimes, a patient may not have enough bone to support wearing conventional dentures. In this case, implants may be necessary to provide additional stability, holding the full or partial dentures more firmly in place. There are many types of implant supported dentures, some of which can be removed by the patient or by the dentist for hygiene care.
